My Story

I have always wanted to be an artist. My earliest childhood memories include me drawing, coloring, and sculpting. I held on to that dream through college where I studied theatre and psychology in hopes of creating art with the human experience at the forefront of everything I create.
I stumbled upon UX/ UI design on accident. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that someone like myself would fit into the world of tech but, when browsing the internet for a meaningful career post-graduation, I discovered UX/ UI design. I debated with myself for several weeks before I decided to take the leap and begin my bootcamp journey through Thinkful. Within the first few lessons, I knew that I had made the right choice and finally found something that fills both my creative and my human connection needs.
After completing some projects through Thinkful, I realized I had made the right choice for myself. UX/UI design and research not only allows me to create new and interesting things, it allows me to do that while actually helping people. Always keeping that in mind helps me to stay motivated during my time at Thinkful while also working outside of classes.
My love for art and people has led me down many paths. I hope to create an online world of accessibility and inclusion for everyone.
